Real Ale Events are once again filling the historic venue with up to 150 different real ales, perries and ciders.

The festival is running from Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th July, with five sessions to choose from. If all of this hasn’t tempted you already, how about some live music to get you in the mood. Or, if you’d prefer to sip your beers in peace then Friday daytime’s ‘music-free session’ is the one for you.

Although the festival’s main attraction is the wide range of real ales, the organisers have added an indoor gin garden, boasting an array of unique gins from distilleries around the UK. There will also be a choice of other spirits, wine and prosecco.

The festival has always attracted the local Crosby and Waterloo crowds, as well as beer aficionados from further afield. Tickets start at £5, with the entry price including your own souvenir glass and programme to take away. There will be local independent suppliers to cure rumbling stomachs over the weekend, providing hot and cold snacks throughout the event, plus sweet treats from Liverpool Cake Company.

Katie Jones, Events Director at Real Ale Events, said; ‘We are now in our 9th year of Waterloo Beer Festival and it just keeps growing in popularity. ‘Dan, our Beer Coordinator, has lined up plenty of old favourites alongside some new breweries and beers so there is something to tempt all tastes.’
