Butter – your new city centre hangout! Based on the corner of Seel Street and Slater street this perfectly sized cafe/bar is where you will find yourself  gravitating towards when you find yourself in wandering the city centre town!

We visited this week and what a place. The locations is next level, you are on the cross roads of two of the most popular roads in Liverpool. We visited when the sun was shining, to make the most of the stoop. Yes the stoop, full flash backs to ‘Hey Arnold’! But the outside area is perfect for catching some sun and, our favourite past time, people watching!

So, what can you expect from butter? It’s a hangout more than a cafe/bar. It has cosy corners indoors you can relax in, outdoor seating, a coffee, pastries, food, booze and even a hand-full of board games to pass some hours.

Here there is no set times for breakfast or lunch or ever drinks after 5pm. You can grab a spritz and a pastry or a coffee and a cubano. You do you! But we do recommend the bloody Mary after a heavy night – it will fix you!
