Free chicken wings? The three best words in the world. The doors to Bold Street’s hit New York-style sister restaurant have opened in Aigburth – and they’re giving away 1,000 chicken wings to celebrate. This Saturday (October 8th) from 12noon, guests will be able to munch on the ‘juicy on the inside’ buffalo chicken wings from the Koop wing shack – for free! Koop’s signature line ‘What’s Your Flavour?’, found on the backs of the server’s shirts, will come into full effect on Saturday as guests can choose from nine different flavours for their free wings, ranging from mild to hot, hot hot. But be quick, when they’re gone, they’re gone!
Each serving of wings, made fresh to order, will be tossed in your choice of flavours including Original Buffalo (the signature), Thai Sweet Chilli, Smokey BBQ, garlic and parmesan or oriental express. As the only independent restaurant in the city to offer a comprehensive selection of chicken wings, a second location is a blessing for many chicken-loving Liverpudlians, but to get your serving of free wings, you’ll have to act fast. They are on a first come first serve basis, so once they’re gone, they’re gone. The new Koop venue will offer diners the same fresh options as it’s Bold Street twin in its signature New York-influenced setting – from various cuts of rotisserie chicken, marinated in their super secret recipe, again, flavoured to your preference, and a range of burgers, wraps, and salads.
Along with those savoury mains, the Koop brand has become known for their take on a homemade milkshake. The restaurant offers a variety of shakes that are made in front of you at their shake bar. Flavours range from The Dodger (Jammie Dodgers, fresh strawberries and ice cream), to the protein-packed Go Nuts (peanut butter, banana and ice cream). All priced at around the £4 mark. The shakes have become a firm favourite at the Bold Street location, and we don’t expect it to be much different at their new branch.
