“I have the right to life, liberty and chicken wings”. – Mindy Kaling
Free chicken wings? Proof that dreams do come true. Bold Street is electric at the moment. Each week it seems as if a new eatery is opening and it’s well on its way to becoming the designated foodie quarter. Koop is the latest restaurant to open its doors on Bold Street and will be doing so in tremendous fashion by giving away 1000 chicken wings from 12noon tomorrow (Saturday 21st May). To celebrate its opening, Koop’s first lucky guests will be able to munch on the buffalo New York-style wings for free, with a choice of up to eight flavours ranging from mild to hot. If you’re feeling hot, hot, hot go for their spiciest version but we have a feeling you might need to indulge in one of their Naughty Nutella shakes after it to cool down.
Koop will specialise in three classics – chicken, burgers and shakes. Each serving of wings, made fresh to order, will be tossed in your choice of flavours including Original Buffalo (the signature); Thai Sweet Chilli; Smokey BBQ; garlic and parmesan; or oriental express. Wings will be available in servings of 5 (two flavours), 10 (two flavours) or 20 (four flavours). Formerly Chez Le Coq and still run by the same management, Koop will offer diners the same fresh options, with some more unique menu items, and a trendier, more vibrant New York-influenced setting.
Head down tomorrow to 74 Bold St, L1 4HR and grab your free wings.
