This is an exciting opportunity for somebody looking for a career in the voluntary sector.

The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant has a key part to play in helping us collect and interpret data about the number and type of people our different programmes reach and the impact they make on the lives of those who engage with them.    At The Reader we deliver a wide range of activities and services, from our Social Enterprises and Heritage offer on site at Calderstones Mansion House to our network of Shared Reading groups and digital activities for adults and children across the UK.  As well as allowing us to demonstrate impact, the qualitative and quantitative feedback we gather from our participants helps us review, develop and improve our services, ensuring they are fit for purpose and continue to meet need.

In the role, the successful candidate will get an overview of activities across the entire organisation which provides an opportunity to learn about how different departments collaborate with one another and how organisations in the voluntary sector work. You’ll be joining the team at an exciting time in the delivery of our digital strategy as we prepare to launch our new CRM and our new online community hub for volunteers

Training and support will be provided.
