SIREN is a restaurant, bar and event space in the heart of Liverpool’s up and coming Baltic Triangle, established in 2013 by friends Jeni & Natalie. Open 7 days a weekend serving brunch, small plates, coffee & cocktails with an emphasis on fresh, seasonal, homemade food, and offering vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options.

As an event space we play host to weddings, private parties and corporate events, as well as a
calendar of our own food & drink events. We offer a full in house catering service from corporate lunches and afternoon tea to canapes and relaxed wedding breakfasts.

We have a small team of skilled and hardworking front of house and kitchen staff who provide
excellent customer service and produce delicious food, proven by our consistently good feedback from clients and band of regular loyal customers.

Wage – £8.70-£9.00 per hour based on experience and length of service

(Part time 16 per week / Full time 40 per week)

We are currently looking for a new team member to join us in the role of Chef.
As a Chef you would work as part of our kitchen team to support the Head Chef, your general duties would be;

Food preparation ahead of restaurant service and catering bookings
Cooking and plating dishes during restaurant service
Preparing and plating dishes for catering bookings

Simple baking and pastry work

Maintenance of food safety procedures – stock rotation, temperature recording etc.
Cleaning of kitchen area, equipment and storage area, and washing dishes

Daily stock orders

We are looking for someone with previous kitchen experience, a passion for fresh food and
awareness of allergens. Knowledge of food safety and hygiene, good time keeping and
professional manner. A strong team player who is organised with common sense and a long term commitment to develop in the role.
