Make North Docks and Invisible Wind Factory are collaborating to bring you Liverpool’s most alternative, festive shopping experience for the second year running.

The festive season is fast approaching, and the famous Winter Arkade is set to return on Sunday 1st December from 12:00 – 17:00. Visitors to this wintry shopping wonderland can expect lots of independent stall holders with activities for the whole family, themed craft workshops, festive food and drink, music and entertainment throughout the whole day. And it’s completely free!

Make North Docks is a creative hub in Ten Streets Liverpool and is part of the social enterprise Make CIC who operate creative spaces in The Baltic Triangle. Founded in 2012, it now employs seven people, and supports more than 70 tenants and residents in the cultural and creative sector. Just next door is Invisible Wind Factory. The warehouse complex houses a 1200 capacity performance venue, rehearsal space, workshop and 18 artist studios. The Invisible Wind Factory is also equipped with an electronics lab, fabrication facility and music studio – forming a hub for creative practitioners from across the city.

Complete your Christmas shopping lists and support the independent scene of crafters, local brewers, makers and bakers all under the two roofs. You can expect to see stalls from the likes of Pinhead, Aloë Jewellery, No Mind Clothing and many more. There will also be a selection of festive themed workshops from contemporary art space Convenience Gallery. You can enjoy a mull brewed by the mulling experts of everyone’s favourite Kaz Garden, as well as some delicious local food. Come along, bring your pals and enjoy a festive Sunday with us!
