Gin, jazz and good times.

Can you hear that? That’s the noise of gin lovers in Liverpool and beyond, raising a glass and rejoicing to the news of our very first gin festival. Ladies and gentlemen, we all knew this announcement would come one day and we are delighted it’s here and we are honoured to invite you to our very first gin festival on April 29th and 30th – a bank holiday bonanza! Set your watch to gin o’clock and prepare yourself for a memorable weekend full of juniper-goodness. It’s no secret that gin is the drink on everybody’s lips and we want to do it justice, if just for one weekend. We will once again be transforming The Great Baltic Warehouse into something special; this time it’s a gin lovers paradise and you’re all invited.

Liverpool is a city full of spirit but this one you can actually drink. Be prepared to sample Merseyside’s finest micro-breweries as we welcome Liverpool Gin, Tappers Gin, Whitley Neil, Wirral Gin as well as 100 gins from around the world. We want to create an environment perfect for novices and connoisseurs alike; opportunity to take part in a gin masterclass, cocktails from industry leaders, gin ice cream, gin lolly ices and Liverpool’s only gin garden to taste them all in. If gin isn’t your thing, don’t worry, we will have a craft beer corner and lots more on offer to whet everyone’s whistle.

It wouldn’t be an Independent Liverpool festival without food and as it’s spring, expect bright, colourful and downright delicious food. We will be bringing some of the best independent eateries all together under one roof for lots of indulging. Well, something has got to soak up all that gin, right? As usual, expect food traders to be released over the coming weeks as well as a full schedule of live music. We’re talking disco DJs, live jazz bands and more because, well, what goes better with a gin and tonic than that?

We are launching with an extra special early bird ticket for just £5 but they won’t last long so be quick and grab them hereTickets after that are £7.50 and are for admission. Opening hours: 12-11pm both days. The event is strictly 18+
