A paw-some doggie day out to raise vital funds for Merseyside Dogs Home.
Merseyside Dogs Home take in more stray dogs than any other rescue on Merseyside. They are also the smallest home but work the most effectively to ensure good dogs find their forever homes – relying on the support of people like you to provide the dogs with the care they need. In order to keep providing such an incredible service, they need your money and they’re hosting a fun day at Calderstones Park on Sunday May 1st.
There’s over 25 fun dog show classes, more than 30 shops and so much more to do. If all that wasn’t good enough, it is set in the glorious surroundings of Calderstones Park, the stunning 94 acre family park in South Liverpool boasting woodland, lake and fields, with botanical and historical interest. Bring your dog along, there’s absolutely no charge and the fun starts at 10am and goes on till 4pm. Although it is free to attend, they’re asking people to dig deep into their pockets to raise vital funds. Last year the event raised over £5,0000 and over 2,000 visitors came down.
See you there, we’ll be the ones without dogs who have come down to pet other people’s dogs and have the time of our lives. More info here.
