The city’s finest bars, all under one roof for a contest of cocktail creativity Friday 28th – Saturday 29th June 2019.

The UK’s leading cocktail festival is back to bring together the city’s most exclusive bars in pop-up form, for two nights only on 28th – 29th June, at The Great Baltic Warehouse. Fifteen of the city’s finest bars will be turning out in force as they compete to be crowned best bar. Expect new and exclusive cocktails, immersive tasting journeys and a street food market with Liverpool’s finest food vendors. With hopefully a bit of sun mixed in too!

Expect bars like Aether, Berry & Rye, Bongo’s Bungalow, Ex-Directory, Red Door, Laurent-Perrier  champagne bar, Volpi (the new incarnation of the ever popular Filter+Fox) and Pins the most exciting new addition to Liverpool’s increasingly popular bar and social games scene. Guests can sip their way through new exclusive drinks and journey through the much loved Tasting Rooms, sampling handpicked craft spirits in a series of quick fire tasting rounds.

Some new ingredients have been added to the mix for this year’s festival including:
  • Over 30 new and original serves to try
  • A new Stylist champagne cocktail bar in association with Laurent-Perrier with drinks created by Liverpool’s leading female bartenders
  • Tasting Rooms Journey – enjoy quick fire tasting sessions with new craft spirit producer
  • Tasting flights in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Negroni with Campari

Sip your way through never seen before serves from the plethora of cocktail bars, or savour champagne whilst indulging in a delicious selection of food, all set to the backdrop of DJs in hosted in the heart of The Baltic Triangle. Cocktails in the City takes guests on a sensory tour through the city’s drinks scene in one night, without even having to leave the building. This year’s event is set to deliver the biggest and most explorative festival of drinks yet.
