Wine and Cheese Tasting at Phase One, Seel Street

Perhaps the prettiest bar on Seel Street, Phase One, are hosting an indulgent evening of wine and cheese tasting. With a selection of cheese curated by the amazing local independent Liverpool Cheese Company, they’ll take you and your mum on a global wine adventure. With seven wines paired with seven specially selected cheeses over a two-hour session, if your mum is a fan of wine you’ll be straight to the top of the favourite child list.

Calligraphy, Flowers and Brunch at One Fine Day, Old Hall Street

One Fine Day has really put a huge amount of thought and effort into their Mother’s Day event this year and it really shows. Alongside their fabulous two course brunch menu and an aptly named Mum-osa (or non-alcoholic elderflower fizz) on arrival there’s a really interesting mix of things happening. The wonderful Victoria Sharpe will be playing on the Grand Piano throughout the brunch, Daughter of Dawn will be hosting a calligraphy workshop on their mezzanine level and excitingly A Slower Space will be there with a pop-up flower stall.

Mum’s Bowl Free Sunday Feast at PINS Social Club, Duke Street

It’s the much loved PINS Sunday Feast but twisted to celebrate absolutely everything ‘mum’. Every mum booked into the PINS Sunday Feast will get a free glass of fizz on arrival and perhaps even better, they’ll bowl for free too. If your mum likes the sound of traditional Sunday roasts served on giant copper trays, piled high with giant Yorkshire puddings and literal gallons of gravy all against a backdrop of live music from a live band AND a couple of freebies to remind her how fab she is then this year PINS might be for her.

Mother’s Day Lunch at The Watering Can, Greenbank Road

The Watering Can have built a special one-off Mother’s Day menu which their chefs can’t wait to show off to you and your mum. With the three-course lunch menu starting from 13:00, a free glass of pink fizz on arrival and plenty of live entertainment The Watering Can is our pick of the bunch for things to do around Mossley Hill. Ni Maxine will be singing from 13:30 to 15:15, followed by Bethannie Hare from 15:30 to 17:30.

Scouse Ma’s Big Night Out at Invisible Wind Factory, Regent Road

Yes you read that right Instagram’s Scouse Ma is hosting a huge Mother’s Day event at Invisible Wind Factory. Ultrabeat (yes, Pretty Green Eyes, that Ultrabeat) will be giving you an hour of pure ‘00s memories. Additionally to Ultrabeat leading female DJs Vicki Scott and Kaci Lea Lynch will be providing the support. And of course since this is a Scouse Ma Mother’s Day party there will be plenty of opportunities to win terrible prizes and amazing prizes for you ma.

Spanish Caravan haven’t long been in the city but have made there mark with a beautiful venue in the heart of Slater Street! This Mothers Day they are having Bottomless Brunch with a Spanish menu to drool over! With Cava and Sangria to soak it all up!  You will also be entertained by the amazing @soulcampbellmusic!
