Following last year’s success and raising an incredible £13,934 at the Mowgli Dog Show 2018, Mowgli Street Food is bringing this fantastic family fundraiser back to Claremont Farm on 7 July 2019 to raise even more for Claire House so that they can reach every child in Merseyside, in need of hospice attention.

Mowgli Street Food, have already raised a staggering £101,464.00 for Claire House but they felt they could do even better. Last year, founder Nisha Katona launched The Mowgli Dog Show to raise money for this incredible charity and also to give her beloved customers some family, foodie and furry friend fun.

Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full. The dedicated team work around the clock to give every child the life they deserve. Unfortunately, despite their amazing work, the team are still only reaching over 50% of poorly children in the North West so events such as The Mowgli Dog Show are a perfect opportunity to raise awareness and rally support.

Mowgli founder Nisha Katona says “Many ask why I launched a dog show the answer is clear. It brings the friendliest, warmest people together all for the love of the dogs that edify our busy lives with their greetings, their smiles, their unswerving loyalty. They give the Great British lifestyle a wag of muddy, humble contentment…..a day spent at the altar of the humble things in life is a no bad thing and who can complain when it’s all in aid for the wonderful Claire House.”

The Mowgli Dog Show will be hosted by the brilliant Jonny Bongo of the legendary Bongo’s Bingo so hold on to your seats. It will take place at Claremont Farm on Sunday 7th July 9am-4pm, and the show itself will feature 10 fantastic categories, including best fancy dress, best biscuit catcher and best stay. Anyone can enter and try for the crown of Mowgli Trust Supreme Champion 2019.

As well as the main dog show, Paws For Thought, a dog agility display team, will be putting on a show after which your own dog can take part. There is a children’s fairground and inflatable area, miniature ponies to cuddle and a shopping haven for your pooches from dog clothes to organic dog ice creams. It’s as much a food festival as a dog day so come hungry and hunker down. This will be a dog lover’s and foodie paradise with something for the whole family. Most importantly every penny of profit goes to improve the lives of the children of our region through the immense work of Claire House.
