We’re Havana Good Time.
The Cuban street food pioneers FINCA have been taking their amazing food all around Liverpool over the years. They did a residency at the Botanical Gin Garden, Slater Street’s The Merchant, the garden in Constellations and recently a stint at The Baltic Market. This time they’re heading to 17 Love Lane, Love, a beautiful disused railway arch to offer food and film fans the perfect night.
When they tell people that they cook Cuban inspired street food, often one of the first things people talk to them about is the film, ‘Chef’. Well, after two years, they feel the time has finally come to bring FINCA and ‘Chef’ together properly for three nights only. They’re giving FINCA fans the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in the film with three cook-a-long screenings taking place on Thursday 3rd May, Friday 4th May and Saturday 5th May, each starting at 7pm.
There’ll be cocktails and tunes from the soundtrack to kick start your night, followed by the unique foodie and movie experience. Expect their signature cubanos, gouda filled croquettas, FINCA sweet potato fries, mariquitas and of course, popcorn too. Not to mention the return of their famous Cuban style donuts, bunuelos. Our mouth is watering just typing this.
This is a night you won’t want to miss out on. Tickets are £25. This includes the screening and all food – drinks are sold separately. Attendees must be 18+. Tickets go live at 7pm, be the first to get them by following their page here.
