LEAF is thrilled at the prospect of being part of the West Kirby and Wirral community, and will be bringing Tea, Music and Good Times to the neighbourhood after an amazing 10 years in Liverpool.
LEAF West Kirby will add to the already flourishing independent scene in the area and will offer 70+teas, imaginative breakfasts, brunches and lunches, as well as a varied evening programme of craft gins and beers, cocktails and fine wines. The move to West Kirby follows the successful launch of LEAF into the Smithdown neighbourhood of South Liverpool and marks an exciting next chapter for the family-run business.
Natalie Haywood, founder of LEAF says: “Our new home in the much-loved Viking site feels wonderful already and we are really excited about working closely with the local community to deliver a distinctive events programme throughout the year, with an acoustic stage downstairs and flexible event space upstairs – it’s perfect for all sorts of occasions and we can’t wait to open the doors!”

LEAF began as a small tea shop run by friends in a Liverpool city centre gallery in 2007, with a quest to bring quality loose-leaf tea to the city in an intimate and bohemian space. LEAF on Bold Street opened in 2010, Here we serve up a menu of locally-sourced and freshly-made wholesome food and countless varieties of loose-leaf tea in a great atmosphere. This winning combination makes it the perfect place for people to relax, enjoy culture and soak up the best in new music.
