LACES OUT! Trainer Festival is back with a summer edit at its new venue Invisible Wind Factory. The North West’s largest celebration of trainers, lifestyle and fashion reaches its 5th birthday this year and LACES OUT! SS19 will be its 10th festival since it began back in 2014.
The popular trainer festival sees sneaker lovers and alike from across the world, old and young descend on the city to browse the thousands of rare, vintage and dead stock trainers available to ticket holders by its huge number of independent traders and collectors. As always the market place is accompanied by a panel of special guests, brands, and DJs. For 2019, LACES OUT! is moving to the incredible Invisible Wind Factory situated near Waterloo Dock, 2 minutes from Liverpool City Centre.
Invisible Wind factory was created by the good people behind the Kazimier, one of the city’s favourite independent spaces. IWF has been described as a “Cultural Theme Park of the Future” set in an actual former factory on the historic docklands of the River Mersey. The 22nd of June will see IWF packed with trainer lovers, selling and buying their way through the endless amounts of tables lined with rarest trainers you can find.
Alongside the market place, LACES OUT! will bring its much loved panel talks, historically filled with famous “sneakerheads” and key industry figures sharing their knowledge and wisdom. This season will see talks from ‘Full Size Run’ Co-Host Brendan Dunne, a live Audio Visual set from DJ SP (Patta Sound System) plus more special guest TBA. SevenStore will be taking over the Substation inside IWF for an interactive installation that shouldn’t be missed. LACES OUT! opens its doors at 12:30pm and closes at 5:00pm.
