That’s right folks, we’ve only gone and done it. Your wallet’s best friend, the Independent Liverpool Membership Card, is now available to download as an app!
You asked for it, and we answered. Thousands of requests and many years – the wonderful perks of being an Independent Liverpool cardholder are now right on your phone. A few months ago we brought out our app to help you discover new places and from today that same app can be used as one of our membership cards. Fancy fantastic discounts and deals at over 100 of Liverpool’s very best independent cafes, bars, restaurants, theatres, pubs, cinemas, hotels, shops and experiences? Of course you do! Well now they’re right at your fingertips.

With features that include:
- a full list of all participating independents and their discounts/deals
- the ability to navigate deals by what day you wish to use the App, by category, and by area
- a ‘Near Me’ function, which when the IB App is opened up will show you your closest 10 independents on a map of the city (a feature that will hopefully enable and encourage you to discover new independents you may not have heard about or visited before)
The App will work on a monthly subscription basis and is available on both Apple and Android devices. Best of all, it can be downloaded instantly – meaning that you no longer have to wait for your card to arrive to start enjoying the perks of being an Indie Liverpool member. The App costs just £2 a month to become a member, which is less than the price of a coffee and allows you to save loads of money whilst supporting local Liverpool independents. We have lots of amazing plans for the app now and your support now makes that all possible.
Many of you know this but for those that don’t Independent Liverpool is ran by two best mates. And that’s it! So as well as supporting amazing independents in Liverpool you’re also helping us shout about our home and our favourite place in the world from the rooftops. What about my Independent Liverpool card?
Good question. The card will still be valid and accepted by all participating independents on the Independent Liverpool Membership scheme. We plan to always offer the card as we know some people might not want the app! You can still buy it on our card page or grab one at Utility on Bold Street.
