We’ve been on the gin diet recently, so far we’ve lost three days.
This October sees the return of Gin Parties to the beautiful Sefton Park Palm House. Expect gin, music and dancing. Once described as the scourge of 18th century society and was also once forgotten and left to demise in the back of our kitchen cupboards. Liverpool – a city well known for its spirit but the only difference is this time it doesn’t half go well with tonic. Whilst gin isn’t anything new (the juniper-based tipple has evolved over the course of a millennium) it has never been appreciated as much as it is now.
Upon arrival, you will be given your very own branded gin balloon – don’t lose it, as it is yours to keep throughout the festival and to take home. You will be spoilt for choice with 20+ different boutique gins to choose from. If you’re stuck, consult your festival guide in which you will find tasting notes for all of the gins available. There will be food from a local provider, payable with cash at the event. And if you get tired of gin (we don’t see how you could!) there will some wine, beers, and soft drinks available too. Then sit back and enjoy some live music and entertainment in the beautiful surroundings.
All tickets are £10.00 and include your entry, entertainment, souvenir glass and gin programme.
There are 3 sessions to choose from:
Friday 20th October 2017 – 7pm until 11pm
Saturday 21st October 2017 – 12pm until 4pm
Saturday 21st October 2017 – 7pm until 11pm
No under 18s will be permitted into the event.
If you are lucky enough to look under the age of 25 you may be required to show ID.
