Fresh new updates to Frederiks Summer Menus
The much-loved Hope Street venue has exciting seasonal news for food lovers.
As the days lengthen and mercury starts to rise, Frederiks have refreshed their Main Menu, as well as Introducing an Early Bird offer for the lighter evenings.

A stalwart of the Georgian Quarter’s dining scene for over a decade, Frederiks has carved a niche not only with its weekly music events such as Hope Street Jazz and Cover Me In Disco, but also the quality of its food and drink offer.
Under the direction of Executive Chef Jonathan Man, the Main food Menu has been revised for with greater focus on fresh salads and lighter bites.
Alongside Freds favourites such as Meatballs Arrabiata, slow-braised Beef Brisket Tagliatelle finished with Grana Pandano, and Fred’s Fried Chicken with Chilli Honey, Summertime highlights include a charred Lettuce salad with toasted Chickpeas & Beetroot Tzatziki, and a pickled Watermelon salad with Goats Cheese, Balsamic oil and roasted Nuts.
Fred’s Pizzetta, hand-stretched, stone-baked Neapolitan pizzas includes new additions Pepperoni with Chilli Honey, Portobello Mushroom with Fresh Rocket and roasted Aubergine with Salsa Verde.
Too good to share, a zingy Sicilian Lemon Meringue Tart with Berry couli and Raspberry Frangipane Tart join Fred’s legendary Sticky Toffee Pudding and Chocolate Truffle Torte on the puds menu.
Running Tuesdays to Fridays between 5.00pm and 7.30pm and Saturdays from 12.00pm-3.00pm, an edited Early Bird menu offers three plates for £16.50 which are perfect for an early tea straight from work or College – pre-theatre, or before one of the popular Hope Street Jazz nights on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Speaking about the menu updates, Frederiks General Manager Adam McEvatt said:
“Freds come into its own in the Summer and Hope Street is always a vibe – with al fresco seating out-front it’s a real sun trap and there’s nowhere better to spend an early evening with friends sharing a few small plates and a cocktail or two, watching the world go by.”
Speaking of cocktails, ones to watch this Summer are Fred’s team favourites Dance With The Devil, which brings the heat, combining Stoli Vodka, Chambord, Lime, Sugar Syrup, Raspberries and Red Chili and the best selling Elegante, which blends Limoncello, Tanqueray, Prosecco and a zesty Lemon Sorbet. Just the ticket for those long warm evenings.
Walk-ins at Freds are always welcome, however the team do recommend booking during Early Bird service times – you can reserve a table via their website, frederikshopestreet.com, by phone on 0151 708 9574 or simply pop in.
