After their sell-out event last year, Fiesta Bombarda are teaming up with the Invisible Wind Factory collective for an intergalactic New Year’s Eve spectacle.
The unique event has been travelling across the UK continuously combining a wide spectrum of musical styles with interactive stalls and stunning visuals to deliver a festival-esque experience to some of the nations most intriguing venues. This New Year’s Eve, it is again the turn of Liverpool to welcome the vibrant creations of Fiesta Bombarda for what is set to be their most immersive journey yet.
Headlined by CHANNEL ONE – one of the world’s greatest and best known dub reggae sound systems – the event invites you to embark on the Bombarda Mothership as you are taken you across the carnival cosmos to discover new immersive environments, extra-terrestrial entities and uncover the secrets of the garden galaxy. The night’s theme is conducted by a special one-time performance from the INTERGALACTIC KAROKE ENSEMBLE, a group made up of the Kazimier collective and some of Liverpool’s finest musicians performing the greatest NYE bangers.
The main stage will explore the best areas of Funk, Brass and Afrobeat with performances from the Renegade Brass Band, Rubber Dub, Down to Funk and DJ sets from Africa Oyé and Melodic Destraction along with many more. However, the audible trajectory into 2019 will not stop there. The Planet Dub stage, taken over by Postive Vibration, Channel One and more, is set to unleash their favourite Reggae, Dub and Jungle tunes into the ever-evolving spaces of one of Liverpool’s finest venues. Intergalactic attire is encouraged.
