Dog Friendly Liverpool: La Finca Eivissa

A little bit of the white isle in Liverpool.

Fuelled by the caffeine hit at Cow & Co Cafe, our cockapoo repawter Marley has been on the prowl for more funky dog friendly venues in Liverpool that she can enjoy with her human. The rather shocking four days of sun in a row last week got Marley in the mood for a holiday and, after some digging, she found one. The only difference being you don’t need a passport for this one.

Based in the former Rockwood Bar and Cue, hidden on Back Colquitt Street, La Finca Eivissa has been transporting the good people of Liverpool to the Balearic Islands since December. Tasty tapas, killer cocktails and a pretty stunning interior that wouldn’t look out of place on Pinterest is the winning formula. Secrets are meant to be broken and this is one hidden gem we couldn’t keep to ourselves.

Things the dog needs to know

Dogs are warmly welcome in both the bar and restaurant until 10pm

You are greeted with heaps of fuss and ear scratches by the staff.

There are jars of doggy treats dotted around the place, perfect for when your humans are eating- you can have a snack too

You get your own water bowl, topped up as required throughout your stay

There are super cosy booths where you can lay down, have a nap and hang out with your human

Things the human needs to know

Lafinca is an Ibiza themed tapas restaurant and bar, the decor embodies all the summer vibes into one glorious establishment.

Sun- Thurs is 3 for £12 on the tapas dishes, the food is exceptionally good. We could have ordered 3 dishes of the halloumi fries alone!

Alongside the tapas options there are changing daily specials so be sure to ask about those!

Sun-Thurs is also two for one on selected cocktails (£7.50) The blood orange mojito is unreal.

Dessert wise, we highly recommend the churros and brownies, they are to die for.

The staff are incredibly accommodating, welcoming & couldn’t do enough for us.
They make a special effort to meet any dietary requirements.

The downstairs bar area has a cosy corner with sunrise projections on the walls, perfect for chilling out with a cocktail (or two) but be warned… It may make you want to book your next holiday.
