Wirral-born chef Simon Rimmer, presenter of Channel 4’s Sunday Brunch, is set to host a culinary feast featuring a trio of Merseyside TV chefs at this year’s Liverpool Food and Drink Festival.

Oh, it’s that time again. The sun is shining, Sefton Park is flourishing and we’re getting our stretchy pants ready to overindulge on the 16th and 17th of September. This year’s food and drink festival is extra special as it’s their 10th year anniversary and they’re going all out. Just one of the things they’re doing is Simon Rimmer’s Culinary Feast on 16th September which will see nationally acclaimed Merseyside chefs – Nisha Katona – Mowgli,  Paul Askew, – The Art School  and Aiden Byrne of Manchester House demonstrate 3 of their favourite dishes whilst being asked and probably teased by Simon Rimmer. The audience will then get to actually eat one of the sumptuous dishes showcased in the demonstrations by one of the three top chefs. Not only that but lucky ticket holders will also have access to a VIP fizz bar, posh toilets and entry to the festival. Not bad, eh? Well – what would you do if we told you we also had an exclusive 10% discount code? We’ll get to that later.

The ‘demo and dine’ concept, is a brand new and innovative way for foodies to engage on an intimate level with TV chefs and to taste their most popular dishes. The exclusive culinary feast will have limited availability and will be set in a specially created pop-up restaurant at this year’s event. Festival visitors need to purchase their tickets online well in advance, to avoid disappointment of missing out on this one off and exclusive opportunity, as tickets cant be bought on the day. Simon Rimmer will host the show in his usual entertaining and conversational style, while the TV chefs share anecdotes, tips and trade secrets as they show guests how to re-create some of their favourite dishes at home. Simon Rimmer, Nisha Katona, Paul Askew and Aiden Byrne, who all have strong roots in Merseyside, have each made regular appearances at Liverpool Food and Drink Festival over the past 10 years.

Tickets to Simon Rimmer’s Culinary Feast on September 16th at Liverpool Food and Drink Festival cost £29.50 and must be booked in advance.
