The 9th of December will see Liverpool’s best back at the beautiful Bombed Out Church with a Christmas event full of Liverpool’s local creatives.
The Halloween makeup has finally washed off, the sweets meant for trick and treaters have been eaten and we all know what that means; CHRISTMAS. Love it or hate it – the most wonderful time of the year is just around the corner. It’s a very important time for family and celebration but we also see Christmas as a wonderful time to give the gift of local. For artists, illustrators, chocolate makers and more – this is a big time of year and it’s never been easier to support them.
Speaking of which, right off the back of a successful summer market in Bombed Out Church, Liverpool Creative Events are back for a Christmas bonanza. Is there a better image than walking around the wonderful Bombed Out Church with a mulled wine in your hand having a mooch? Yeah, we can’t think of one either. The event takes place from 11am-5pm so early worms and late bloomers can all join in on the fun.
We caught up with Alexandra Cox, the mastermind behind the market to find out all about it:
“With this event filling up fast it’s sure to be a real Christmas treat. From food to fashion, handmade to vintage, whether you want some unique Christmas gift’s or you just want to treat yourself then there’ll be something for you.
We will also have the amazing ‘Shoebox Full of Love’ there collecting donations of clothes, gifts, toiletries, food and more all for the homeless and less fortunate this Christmas. Plus many more amazing Liverpool creatives, including Quirky Chairs, Pomshell, Animal hair, Scoville Sorcery Company, Primarge and much more.
So come down, support local independent businesses, give a little something to the less fortunate and experience the beautiful Bombed out Church all lit up. Share the Liverpool love this Christmas”
