Brilliant idea by even better people.

After the raging success of last year’s Bootle Beer Festival, the local community and beyond asked for more. More music, more real ales and more family fun. Well here it is… the Bootle Music Festival – a family music event situated in a stunning location on the banks of the historic Liverpool-Leeds canal. From 1pm – 8pm on both Sat 25th & Sun 26th August, the canal-side will come alive with an incredible line-up of talent.

Considering it’s Bootle’s first major music festival you’d forgive them for not booking huge names but for headliners they’ve already booked Hue Cry, Space & The Real People. Support acts on both days will be an eclectic mix of the established and emerging local talent – From ABBA tributes to Gospel Choirs, there is something for all the family so prepare to party.

Bootle Music Festival will celebrate original art through live music, visual artists and craftsmen as well as good food and real ale at realistic prices. A Wellbeing Zone will include yoga, mindfulness, woodland crafts & much more with representatives from the local community giving advice and information on local health & environmental issues.

Organisers SAFE Regeneration are a non-profit organisation and all proceeds from this event will be re-invested back into community projects. Order your tickets now for the discounted online rate of just £10 per person for entry to the festival on both Saturday and Sunday. Day Tickets are also available from the Lock & Quay, 2 Irlam Road, Bootle L20 4AH Daily from 12pm – 10pm for £6 per person per day. Don’t forget kids under 10 come free.
