On the 22nd March, Liverpool will host Action Against Hunger’s Moveable Feast for the first time.

Lucky diners will have the opportunity to access some of Liverpool’s most exclusive dining areas, whilst enjoying a specially curated four course menu together with a thoughtfully prepared wine pairing. Guests will attend a drinks reception before rotating between four renowned restaurants, enjoying a unique course at each venue, which has been specifically designed for the event.

Action Against Hunger is a global humanitarian organisation that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger. We save the lives of malnourished children. We ensure families can access clean water, food, training and healthcare. We enable entire communities to be free from hunger.

To begin the evening, Buyers Club the much loved hidden gem of a bar, kitchen and garden, will serve a uniquely crafted cocktail and aperitivo from their new deli to get guests in the party mood and taste buds going ahead of the four-course menu. Diners will then be escorted to some of Liverpool’s most exclusive venues;

  • Multi-award winning and local food hero, Chef Patron Paul Askew will welcome guests to his elegant fine dining The Art School. You will know him from The Great British Menu and Saturday Kitchen – he is renowned for using only the finest produce and ingredients, to create beautiful dishes. Guests are in for an incredible treat as Paul will be opening up his exclusive private dining room for the night for our lucky diners.
  • Guests will then experience the much loved and multi award winning restaurant London Carriage Works which serves delicious modern British dishes. They will be opening their Old Book Room for our lucky guests to experience the warmth and elegance of this room with floor to ceiling windows, original brickwork and iron columns and views of the neighbouring Georgian houses.
  • Oktopus will treat guests to beautiful, seasonal modern European sharing dishes. The venue, which is situated in an ambient hidden courtyard behind Hope Street, has been receiving rave reviews from National press since it’s opening last year.
  • The stunning Hope Street Hotel will open it’s incredible 5th floor private dining room for the occasion. With stunning views across the whole of Liverpool, guests will be wowed by both the view and their equally stunning, specially prepared dishes.

Emma Cullingford, Head of Food Related Fundraising for Action Against Hunger said: “Guests are going to be in for a really special treat, dining at some of Action Against Hunger’s top supporting restaurants throughout Liverpool. Every course within each venue has been carefully thought about to give diners a unique evening filled with mouth-watering food and an experience they won’t forget”.

The ‘Moveable Feast’ will be in aid of international development organisation, Action Against Hunger with all funds raised going directly to support their work to end child malnutrition in over 49 countries around the world. There are only 60 spaces available per event.
