Hyp Baby (pronounced ‘Hip’ Baby), new to Lark Lane, opened their doors today on 4th December.
Hyp Baby is a chill out room for mums to take their babies aged from birth to one year old. It’s cool, quaint, quirky and clean. The room is a total ‘relax’ zone for both mum and baby with a; teepee space, light sensory and other age appropriate toys. At just £5 for a one hour session, it is affordable for all, and mum/dad or carer can even enjoy a complimentary drink.
Hyp Baby owner Rachael Knowles says “I have wanted to open my own baby space since I had my own daughter. Other local spaces were always just a bit crowded, and unfortunately could be a bit dirty! I live close to Lark Lane and saw an opportunity open up at The Old Police Station. There is nothing like this for mums and babies on Lark Lane, our sessions are one hour long which is perfect before or after you have a bite to eat on the lane! At Hyp Baby you can guarantee your smaller babies are safe ‘chilling out’ as we are for under ones only. Our light sensory has been a big hit during our soft launch, we can not wait to officially open.”
Hyp Baby is a hub located within the Old Police Station (the community centre) on Lark Lane. Hyp Baby works as a drop in, our door is always open; however you can book your session ahead, or hire our room completely private with your friends for just £25 an hour! Hyp Baby is open Monday to Friday from 10am-4pm. All session times can be found on the website www.hypmama.co.uk. Check them out on Instagram here and Facebook here.
Hyp Baby are offering all new customers in December a complimentary session to be used in January!
