Spend The Afternoon At The Calderstones Courtyard Fair

Join us for a bumper day of family-friendly fun as we team up with The Reader to celebrate heritage, craft and community in the beautiful Calderstones Courtyard on September 9th. As part of the celebrations we are absolutely delighted to be hosting a makers market in one of Liverpool’s most beautiful parks. The jam-packed schedule also includes: free introduction to Shared Reading sessions, a chance to see the Calder Stones and Mansion House up close, free family sessions with The Storyhunters at The Storybarn and activities including The Big Children’s Book Swap (bring a book to swap) and knitting workshops. Cheers The Roof And Your Glasses At Our Oktoberfest

Steins, brines and bloody good times. From 28th September-1st October Merseyside meets Munich on a street in Baltic Triangle. We’ll be converting the Baltic Market into a haven of hot dogs, beers by the stein and German camaraderie. Dust off your lederhosen, pull up a seat and raise your beers with us to good times. We’ve got hot dog perfectionists Meet Frank cooking up a storm, a local Liverpool beer tent and lots of live music. Tickets are just £5 on the door, more info here.

Laugh Until It Hurts At Liverpool Comedy Festival

Top comedians from around the UK will be descending on Liverpool for 2 weeks to turn the funniest city in the UK into the funniest city across the world! They will be complemented by the very best of home-grown Scouse talent for a fabulously funny fortnight hosted in a city well known for its comedy (and elegant accent). Eat Your Body Weight in Cake At The LEAF Pudding Club

LEAF Pudding Club celebrates our love of the sweet stuff, not just for one or two courses, but five! All of our puddings are homemade, and it wouldn’t be a LEAF Pud Club without it all being washed down and topped off with a perfectly matched cup of tea. Unfortunately, we are not able to cater for any dietary requirements for Pudding Club. Seating is in long banquet-style tables. All seating is unreserved; if you’re with a large group we recommend arriving early. Please note that for the cocktail option you will be served five cocktails, containing one unit of alcohol. Over Indulge At The 10th Year Anniversary Liverpool Food & Drink Festival

Every foodie has this weekend marked down in their calendar. The best of Liverpool’s effervescent food and drink scene congregate in Sefton Park for a weekend of food, drink and more food and drink. On the 16th and 17th September the park will be turned into “foodie heaven” for the tenth year running and you just can’t miss it. Fire Up The Cannons At The Liverpool Pirate Festival

‘Shiver me timbers’, the free family friendly Pirate Festival on the docks will be returning this year on September 16th and 17th. There’ll be sword fighting, musketry and cannon fire, shanties and storytelling, free face painting and activity workshops, plus a spectacular ship-to-ship pirate battle across Albert Dock. Discover how people lived in the days when pirates terrorised the high seas and come aboard the pirate brigantine Zebu and learn the amazing true stories behind some of the real life pirates from legend. Trip Out At Psychfest

Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia is a pan-continental celebration of audio-futurists, operating at the bleeding edge of today’s psychedelic renaissance. For two days each September, Liverpool’s former industrial heartland beats once more, to motorik throb and shimmering drone, a kaleidoscopic celebration of our global psychedelic village. The festival was lauded across its first three installments (2012, 2013 and 2014) for its unique take on a thoroughly modern psychedelic condition, with The Guardian declaring “Liverpool, the great psychedelic capital of Europe”. Celebrate 16 Years Since The Restoration Of The Palm House


A pop up birthday event to enjoy one of Liverpool’s most beautiful buildings in Sefton Park. The octagonal, 3 tiered, Grade II* listed Victorian glasshouse displaying plants from around the world hasn’t always looked so good and at one point was left to rot. But at sweet 16, the building is flourishing. Go and see for yourself. More info here.

As well as a permanent street food market, there are regular markets on Sundays at Baltic Market in Cains Brewery. The first Sunday at Baltic Market is a makers market, the second Sunday is a flea market the third Sunday is a farmers market and the fourth Sunday is a kids market. Lark Lane farmers market is every 4th Saturday of the month and is your chance to buy fresh local produce. Come along from 9am until 2pm and you can buy anything from organic vegetables, meat, fish, bread, cakes and more.

Drink All The Beer At St George’s Hall Beer Festival

Join one of Liverpool’s most iconic buildings for St George’s Hall Beer Festival this September. If you’ve never stepped inside the Great Hall before then you’re in for a treat. And, even better, you can sit back with a drink and enjoy the view. Expect over 200 different real ales, ciders and bottled beers alongside an Indoor Gin Garden with wine and Prosecco. Dance The Night Away At A Baby Beatles disco

On Light Night a Beatles Disco was held for grownups. It was a great night but not everyone could make it, so they’ve decided to hold a big daytime party to celebrate mums, dads, grandparents, aunties, uncles, carers and, of course, kids. Starting at 2 o’clock on Sunday afternoon (10th September) in the Camp & Furnace, grab the whole family, pop down for a boogie, craft and art tables, face painting, fancy dress, multi-sensory dance floor, inflatables, balloons, glow sticks, soft play, a bevvie (for the parents), and of course, loads of songs by The Beatles. Tickets are currently sold out, but join the waiting list here and you might get lucky.
