One weekend in all of our calendars each year is the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival in Sefton Park where the best of Liverpool host an amazing weekend of sheer indulgence.
The daffodils have sprouted, the sun is shining and it’s the return of the Spring Food and Drink Festival in Sefton Park – what a time to be alive! Grab yourself a craft beer or a big gin goblet as Liverpool Spring Festival gives you the biggest tastiest outdoor food court in the city. This April comes with some added bonuses as it’s also a weekend of exploration filled with culture, new experiences & new skills. Try out yoga, learn how to make a flower crown or perhaps you’ll get energised in one of the fitness classes. Learn new cooking skills for a meat free meal in one of the vegan or vegetarian cookery classes, educate yourself on how to make the best out of your garden in free gardening activity tent or be enlightened in one of the meditation sessions.
If you’re coming down with the family the festival has got the kids covered with a pop-up farm, a cow milking challenge, donkey rides, and birds of prey. This year the festival are even bringing a very exciting Sheep Road Show, guaranteed to keep you entertained as nine different breeds of sheep appear on stage, each with their own theme tune. It’s a weekend that will have you laughing and dancing whatever your age.
