Tell me about it, stud.
A secret cinema night in Liverpool? Oh, tell me more, tell me more. The summer is almost here and what better way to celebrate it than by watching Grease, the absolute classic still loved decades later on June 16th. Combs through hair, pink jackets and flying cars – what’s not to love? Oh those summer nights, let’s not forget the singalong’s – we want you all joining in. A rare chance to experience the friendships, romances and adventures of a group of high school kids in the 1950s in one of Liverpool’s most beautiful and secret buildings.
The venue for the evening will be The Dome, a multipurpose theatre and performance space based at Grand Central on Renshaw Street. It was originally a church and most of the original features have been kept. There’s Victorian theatre style seating, ample floor space and most importantly, a fully equipped bar. It has been many things over the decades but over the coming months we are so excited and honoured to put on many cinema nights. Summer just got interesting.
The event is on June 16th. The doors will open at 7pm, arrive early to grab your seat and a drink and the film will start at 8pm. There will be entertainment in the form of singing from 7.30pm-8pm. Tickets are just £10 so you better shape up as this will sell out quickly.
*Tickets are for entry only
*There is no disabled access
