One weekend in all of our calendars each year is the Liverpool Food & Drink Festival in Sefton Park where the best of Liverpool host an amazing weekend of sheer indulgence.

The daffodils have sprouted, the sun is shining and it’s the return of the Easter food and drink festival in Sefton Park – what a time to be alive. Foodies of Liverpool assemble; this year’s event features five district zones, all with their own unique aesthetics and activities. The Wood Lands is a must for Bear Grylls fans (big and small), who like to get stuck into the great outdoors with a bit of bushcraft and den making and for those who prefer a more relaxed experience there is also a gin market and a sushi making workshop. The Kids’ Village is packed with fun activities to keep young visitors entertained for hours on end, The Pasture is jam packed with tasty treats from region’s finest food producers and independent street food stalls.

The Lawns is where the producers’ market will be so expect cheese, breads and more produce than your cupboards can handle and finally The Meadow is where you can sit back and relax with delights from the likes of Treaty Pie, Little Furnace and Liverpool Rum, Gin and Vodka. We are so excited for the bank holiday bonanza and in true Independent Liverpool fashion, we’ve selected just a few of the reasons you need to visit this year.

Enjoy and we apologise in advance if we make you hungry.
